Dragon in the Dust by Post Wheeler. Hardcover book published by The Marcel Rodd Company, Hollywood, 1946, New York. First edition. Measures about 6 inches by 9 inches with 253 pages. Written just after World War 2, deals with what to do with Japan. I have not read it, but seems an interesting and historical study. Hardcover, no jacket, cover is worn, spine barely readable, cover a bit stained but intact, names and message inked inside front cover. Paper is very good, book is still tight.

1963 Oregon State University Yearbook Chinook
From 1963, this is the Beaver yearbook from Oregon State University. Called the Chinook, this yearbook contains a page or two on Terry Baker, Heisman Trophy winner for that year. Heavy, nicely bound book in very good condition, 480 pages and I could find no markings or signatures inside.

1939 Yearbook for the State College of Washington State. The Chinook. 9 1/4 inches by 12 1/4 inches. 360 pages, in good condition but there has apparently been some dampness in the past, some of the glossy pages have stuck together, I was able to seperate most without incident but a few pages were slightly damaged in the process. Slight tear on the spine.

Jefferson High School Yearbook Portland Oregon 1958
The title pretty much says it all, Jefferson High School yearbook from 1958 THE SPECTRUM, Portland, Oregon, in good condition, white covers with plastic sleeve has kept the book in clean shape for the most part, I do see a bit of spotting, probably before the cover went on and around the edges a bit. Lots of inscriptions from fellow students inside. There is a color insert of the years Rose festival princess, the May Queen and court. Probably done after the publication date.

The financial papers of Dr. John McLoughlin, edited by Burt Brown Barker. Softcover book measures 5 1/2 inches by 8 1/2 inches with 87 pages and fold out copies of the original documents. Published by the Oregon Historical Society from the quarterly's of 1944 and 1949. Apparently published in 1949. Scarce book in very good condition, has some shelf wear in brown wraps. -Being the record of his estate and of his proprietory accounts, 1811-1821- and the Hudson's Bay Company, 1821-1868. Aside from the shelf wear, unmarked and undamaged.
