The Glass Eye paperweight handblown signed This is a beautiful hand blown paperweight marked on the bottom - The Glass Eye - MSH - 1986.It measures 9 inches around and is about 2 1/2 inches high. The coloring is a gorgeous purplish- green, like the iridescence of carnival glass. It is actually the color of oil floating on water, know what I mean? It is round with a flat bottom and has wiggly lines around it, like veins. It is in excellent condition, no damage noted. Very nice and collectible piece!

Manufactured by Greentown, this is a small dish made from slag glass in the chocolate pattern. The dish has three short legs and is in excellent condition. It is typical to find these with significant chips, this one has two very tiny flea bites on the inside edge of the scallop at the top. I don't know the pattern here, hopefully it will be apparent to a collector from the pictures. Measures 4 3/4 inches in diameter across the top. Stands 1 7/8 inches at the highest point.

3476

Higgins Art Fused Glass Ashtray Magazine Stand An unusual piece that I cannot find another reference to. If you have a Higgins book, perhaps it's listed. Found at an estate, this includes the ashtray, magazine stand and removable plastic shelf at bottom. This is my first encounter with Higgins, so I don't know the pattern of the ashtray. The stand is a basic brass stand, has some rubbing here and there, one slightly bent bottom bar at the end, wood handle at top. The plastic at the bottom shelf is a lucite with gold spills. The ashtray itself is excellent, no chips or breaks, the original sticker is still on the bottom, mostly unreadable.

This dish measures about 6 1/4 inches in diameter, stands 2 1/4 inches high and stands on 3 feet. Absolutely wonderful condition, without any damage. Excellent piece. I have recently heard from a viewer that this may be Indiana glass. Afraid I don't have a book but this seems quite possible. Thanks.
