Wiley Post, Winne May Airplane Press Photo 1933 This is a press photo of Wiley Post at Floyd Bennett Field in 1933. On the back is noted copyright mark of Int'l. Photo, and is also on the front of the photo. Date stamped July 15, 1933, also penciled in is Sperry Gyroscope Co. and information on the plane, a Lockheed Vega 5A, designed by John Northrup, Allen Lockheed, tested on July 4, 1927. This photo has been retouched, I believe is original touch up for the press release, mostly the background and it looks like part of the plane. Very interesting photo.
