Little Prospector Toy Uranium Detector Extremely cool vintage toy uranium detector made by Glacial Mineral Products Co. I don't find any dates but suspect that it's from the late 1950's or early 1960's. What it is, is actually witching or dowsing rods dressed up with some space age washers. Really the best thing about this is the box. Great graphics on the front and the box is in excellent condition. Appears completely unused as stored. Inside are four rods and the instructions for assembly and the parts for putting it together. Never opened, never used. The parts package is still sealed. The box measures 17 1/2 inches long and 4 3/4 inches wide. So, throw away your metal detector because this says it locates buried treasure, entertaining and practical, and to top it off, it glows in the dark (I think there is a tube of stuff that you coat on the rods, I wouldn't touch it though, you'll probably go sterile) Anyway, check out the freckle faced little prospector on the front.
 

Wind up dog from occupied Japan Make your dog feel jealous. This looks like a dog, feels like a dog, and sits around doing nothing like a dog. But wait, it's actually a wonderful wind up toy from occupied Japan! This little guy is made of real animal fur and has a cute little face with olive green eyes. Its winder and underbelly are made of blue metal, and it runs around on three metal wheels. This old dog is missing a little fur, and has a little hole where his wet nose should be. This does not make him any less endearing, and his winding and rolling mechanism works great. 5" long, 3 1/2" tall.

Child's Toy Dover Sad Iron # 602, Wood handle w/ Cover A very cool child's toy iron from Dover, U.S.A. I suppose that it could be a salesman's sample but I believe this was simply designed as a toy. It measures 3 1/2" long and has a detachable cover, wood handle. Still solid and complete, cover hooks on well. The cover has a quite a bit of rusting on it and the wood handle is somewhat discolored but still a very nice piece.
 

Sun Rubber Mickey Mouse Fire Truck (w/Donald Duck) A little fire truck toy from Sun Rubber Co. with Mickey Mouse driving and Donald Duck on the back holding onto his hat. The biggest detractor is that Mickey's ears and hat are rough. The ears are flattened and rough, as is the hat. Everything else is in very good condition, some paint missing in spots. Off white wheels work well, no chips or other issues. Measures 6 1/2 inches in length and stands 4 inches high to the top of his hat. Pretty neat toy.
 

Electric Jack Straws Game An early battery operated skill game from "The Electric Game Co. Inc" Provides a cardboard canister with a screw on metal lid that is perforated with holes, a platform under the lid has little wooden rods that you use the tweezers to pick out. If you touch the sides of the hole in the lid, a buzzer and light is supposed to go off. I tested this with a bit of a weak battery and the buzzer did not sound and the light was very weak.

The canister lid has some light rust and there is some rust on the bottom platform where the battery sits. It's possible to get it working well again, but I don't know how. The canister is clean and nice and undamaged. The tweezers are attached with a wire. Also comes with the box, light wear, short tears but still very nice, fun graphics.
 

Weeden Steam Engine Toy An antique steam engine by Weeden. No patent number on it, so I'm not sure of the date, probably around the late 20's. The engine is in pretty good condition although not perfect. The red paint on the base is pretty good. Turning the wheel appears to have no problems. The spinner is good, the glass tube is intact. The screw knob on the top is misshapen and difficult to turn. The little red handles on the top, one moves, the other is fixed. The brass boiler tank is good but darkened. The pulley wheel inside the large wheel is damaged. Overall, I think in pretty good shape.
 

Gilbert Erector Set Rocket Launcher 10201, Nice This offering is for a Gilbert Erector set rocket launcher number 10201 set from 1959 I believe. The set appears complete but for the motor and the rocket. The box is in pretty good shape with moderate surface scratches, both clips work. It also includes the 1959 instruction manual in nice condition and the Gilbert comic book from 1959 in very nice shape.
 

Old Gilbert Erector set parts, Angle Girders Lot This offering is for a box of Gilbert Erector set girders. The box is a 6 1/2 Erector set with lots of playwear and scratches. There is about 50 or more of the 12 1/2 inch, about 30 of the 6 1/2, about 30 of the 3 1/2 and some various others, maybe 150 or so. Weight about 15 pounds for shipping.

Includes; 4 slightly curved blue metal pieces-4 1/2 by 4 inches; 6 square end girders-2 1/2 by 2 1/2; 7 rectangular girder pieces-2 1/2 by 4 1/2 inches; 14 long girder pieces-2 1/2 by 10 1/2 inches. Also includes some loose screws and nuts and the plastic Erector box. All of the pieces have some light scratches or playwear, plastic box is still nice.

There is an old original metal box for the Radar Scope set number 10042 which is kind of rough and also, 9 large tubes, 4 of which are galvanized, 5 metal caps for this size, 2 black and 3 red, one is attached to a cone. Also has two homemade caps of foil. Also, there are 22 of the smaller black tubes. All the parts are in used condition but useable, little scratches and play wear. One of the galvanized tubes is kind of rusty. Sold all as one lot.
