At least I think it's a gravy ladle. Made by 1847 Rogers Bros., marked A1, this silverplate ladle is in nice condition. Shows moderate wear, still a very nice piece of silver. Done in the Berkshire pattern. I don't find any spots that are worn through the silver. The bowl shows normal use, the handle is cleaner.

| Looking very closely, I find there are very tiny, tiny pitting marks in the bowl, difficult to see without a loop but you should know they are there. The ladle measures 7 1/4 inches in length, so it might be smaller than a gravy ladle. |
