This is an adorable pair of WWII era hand carved and painted wooden children's shoes dated 1945. Across the top of each shoe is painted Souvenir - Belgiun - 1945, with the British Union flag and the Belgium flag. On the bottom of the left shoe someone wrote Feb. 23, 1945. Each shoe is 5 1/4 inches long and almost 2 inches across.
