All the glass sides and the top of the clock are bevelled glass. I think the clock is from the late 1800s, and it is at least a 7 day clock. It is a wind up clock, with the alarm bell, and it keeps amazingly accurate time. It is 3 1/4 inches end to end when closed, and 2 1/2 inches tall. When it is pulled apart there are little goldtone colored feet that come out, so the clock can stand up. There is slight rubbing on the back of the clock, on the leather case.
