The box is quite unusual, and has 2 oriental pictures on the sides, Mt Fuji??, and another flatter mountain. There is a carved mans face on the front, and when a button is pressed the mouth opens and a cigarette comes out. When yet another button is pressed the front compartment opens, for the cigarettes. It has been glued in 1 place. It is 3 inches wide, and 4 1/4 inches long, and 4 1/2 inches tall. I purchased this box at an antique fair in England, and do not know the age, or the true origin of it. I do think it is quite old. |
