Old Tin Money Bank that was made in western Germany. There is a handle on the side of the bank, and when it is turned, a Bird pops out of the hole, and will take a coin in its beak. I am not certain that there is not a piece missing on the coin part. The bottom of the bank has no 'stopper' for the coins. The bank is 5 1/4 inches tall and 3 1/4 inches wide. The bank is put together with folded back pieces of tin. I am sorry I do not know much about banks, I bought this because it was cute. Over the top of the Bee Hive it has L B Z. |
