The front has a fabric or linnen look to it. Distributed by the Tichnor Art Company, L. A. Warner Baxter was a silent film actor. Warner Baxter began as an extra in 1918. He had his first starring role in 1921, in a film called Sheltered Daughters and he quickly became one of the most popular actors of the decade. He starred in forty-eight features during the 1920's. His most famous starring role was as the Cisco Kid in In Old Arizona (1929), the first all-talking western, for which he won the Academy Award for Best Actor.
