1902 Calander Art Print by J G Brown
Vintage J G Brown Lithograph art print titled The Treasurer with a number U4203. The print depicts a young lad in knickers shining shoes sitting next o box with his dog holding his hat in his mouth. The print is in vivid brown tones on a cardboard backing that once held a calander. This was a promotional item for the American National Bank in Montana's Capitol City, Helena, Montana. At the time the President of the bank was T. C. Power, The Vice President was A. C. Johnson and the Cashier was N. J. Gould. The Directors were T. C. power, A. C. Johnson, N. R. Holter, Richard Lockey and N. J. Gould. The bank's capitol that year was $200,000 and the deposits were $1,150,000. The print is signed by J. G. Brown with a 1902 copyright. It was produced by The Osborne Company, New York City. The print is in excellent condition. Firmly attached to the cardboard. The cardboard is worn on the edges. This would be an excellent collector piece all ready to place in a frame.
