Antique Set of Bombe Melon Shape Pudding Mold Antique Tin Bombe Style, Melon Shape Pudding, Ice Cream or Jello Mold or Mould Set. These two-part molds or moulds have handles on the top and bottom and were used to steam pudding, make melon shaped ice cream desserts or could be used for jello. You can find recipes for these molds on the internet for a good ald-fashioned dessert for your family. You get a set of two, I've seen three sizes. This looks like the larger and the smaller of the three. The large mold base measures 8 1/4 inches long, 6 1/4 inches wide and about 4 inches tall overall. There ar some dents as would be expected from age and use. The inside of the tray is pitted but not worn through. Slides apart easily. The smaller mold base measures 6 1/2 inches long, 5 inches wide and about 3 1/2 inches high. The top half of the mold was crimped where it slides into the base and is a little difficult to open. Both molds have handels on both the top and the bottom. Securely intact and functional. A great addition to your vintage kitchen collectible collection.
