Ornate Pillbox Hat in Off white, ecru or Tan satin with gold and silver goldwork bullion or purl embroidery thread & lizerine flat gold bullion thread. Bullion or purl is metal coils of wrapped wire that is sewn down. Floral embroidered design with green, red and orange seed beads and faux pearls. There are two combs to hold the hat in place. There is no maker tag but I have seen other simular hats by Evelyn Veron, and Juliette Dayne. Other descriptions are India metalwire embroidery trim. Exquisite, ornate, gorgeous. |
