1600ap
This is a beautiful vintage 7.75" x 10.75" motto of Robert Browning's poem "Grow Old Along With Me!". The poem is printed on craft colored paper with black lettering, surrounded by scenes of a family having a picnic and farmers haying in the fields. The colors are wonderful: golden sunrays around the poem, and shades of rust, brown, gold, and black make up the color palette. There is a signature in the lower right corner which may be Lee Mead, but I am not sure. The original brass hanger is present, but the backing paper is not. The wooden frame is gilded with a maroon insert. The condition is lovely.
