This is a pair of painted cast iron ship bookends in coral, blue, green, and gold. They measure 4.25" x 4.25", and date ca. 1930.
 

This is a great pair of Hubley cast iron terrier bookends, #294. They measure 5.25" x 5.5" and have the original paint, which shows some wear. They are marked 294 on back.
 

What a great set of polychrome cast iron bookends depicting a scene from the Revolutionary War! They measure 6" x 6" and the original paint is in very good condition.
 

This is a great pair of cast iron whippet bookends, measuring 6 3/4" x 7 1/4". The dogs are painted black and white with a brown collar, and they retain the original felt. Very nice condition, with some wear to the paint.
 

This is a wonderful pair of ca. 1925 bookends by Littco Mfg. Co.. They are very heavy cast iron with a rich coppery brown paint showing some wear. They are 6 1/8" high. One original felt remains. The three dimentional fish are beautifully rendered.
 

This is a very handsome pair of large plated cast iron bookends by Bronzmet, measuring 7.25" x 5.75". They are inscribed on the back "OLD IRONSIDES D48 COPYRIGHT 1927 GIFT HOUSE, INC. BRONZMET". Excellent condition, with a few discolored spots on the finish.
 

This is a pair of Deco geometric style elephant bookends by Andersen-Starr. The elephants measure 5.5" and are made of gray metal with a matte gold finish. There are several chips in the finish. "PAT.PEN" is embossed on the front of the base. The original felts remain. The design patent was August 21, 1928.
 

This is a beautiful pair of cast iron Art Nouveau bookends. They portray a nude winged nymph dancing in the waves, adorned with a flowing scarf. The copper colored paint shows some wear, and some scratches on the back sides. The bookends are stamped DESIGNE PAT 1154 on the reverse.
 

This is a very large pair(7.75" x 7") of polychrome cast iron bookends. There is some wear to the paint, and there is no felt on the bottoms.
 

This is a pair of very heavy cast iron bookends featuring pirates sitting on their treasure chests. Very little remains of the original brass colored plating- there is more left on one than the other. The pirates measure 6" high, and the metal is in excellent condition. These are heavy enough to use as bookends!
 

This is a pair of weighted bronze bookends by Armor Bronze, with the original paper labels and felt. These ca. 1920's bookends feature two begging puppies, one with a red bow and one with a blue bow. The finish shows some wear. They measure 7" high, and one has an indented corner. This is a charming and unusual pair.
 

This is a lightweight pair of gray metal bookends featuring puppies sitting on a shield shaped base. The shiny copper and brown finish shows very minor wear. The bookends measure 4.5" high x 4" x4", and still have the original felt. Very nice condition.
 

What a cute pair of cast iron terrier bookends! They measure 4 5/8" high x 4 3/4" wide x 2" deep, and are heavy for their size. The original paint shows typical wear, and they retain the original felt. A great addition to a collection of cast iron.
 

This is a delightful pair of bookends featuring a cherub holding a butterfly on his finger. He is kneeling on the ground amid ferns and cattails and is holding a book in his other hand. He is accompanied by a tiny frog as well. The background is in the shape of a book. The gray metal bookends have a darkened bronze colored finish which shows typical wear, and they measure 6.25" high x 4" wide x 2" deep. They date from 1924, and still retain the original felt. Attributed to Ronson.
 

This is a handsome pair of German Shepherd bookends embossed on the bottom front "CHIEF OF POLICE". They are fairly heavy, made of copper plated cast iron. The bookends each measure 6.5" high x 4" wide x 2" deep, and still have the original felt. The condition is excellent!
