This is a pair of Deco geometric style elephant bookends by Andersen-Starr. The elephants measure 5.5" and are made of gray metal with a matte gold finish. There are several chips in the finish. "PAT.PEN" is embossed on the front of the base. The original felts remain. The design patent was August 21, 1928. |
