This is a classic cast iron and brass book rack with a pine bough motif. Each brass plated end measures 7" x 4.5" and is engraved with the number 576. The rack measures 12.5" when closed and 22" when fully open, which will accommodate a nice number of books. The condition is beautiful. This pattern coordinates nicely with the owl and pine bough motif found in book racks and letter holders.
