This is an unusual vintage book rack with a Coat of Arms motif. Each cast iron end measures 6.25" x 4.5" and is plated in a handsome dark pewter gray. The number 9974 is embossed on the inside. The motif is armorial, with a helmet and three shields. The rack measures 12.25"(inner measurement) when closed, and 22" when fully open. Attributed to the Judd Mfg. Co., the piece is in very good condition, with minor wear to the finish consistent with age. |
