This is an unusual vintage book rack with a Coat of Arms motif. Each cast iron end measures 6.25" x 4.5" and is plated in a handsome dark pewter gray. The number 9974 is embossed on the inside. The motif is armorial, with a helmet and three shields. The rack measures 12.25"(inner measurement) when closed, and 22" when fully open. Attributed to the Judd Mfg. Co.
