This is a terrific vintage Arts and Crafts motto entitled "Mother and Dad". The motto is printed on craft paper in black and gold lettering, with gilded illustrations. It is signed MASTER CRAFT CHICAGO, copyright 1921 L. Stewart Barr. The gilded wooden frame, measuring 8.75" x 10.75", has a peacock blue accent, and shows wear to the gilding. The glass is somewhat loose in the frame. The motto has one small brown dot near the upper line, otherwise the condition is very good. The back paper is clean, and a wire is provided for hanging. |
