Illman Brothers Engravings of Children "Mother," "The Sister," and "The Reprimand" were all painted by C. De Jonghe. "Who's Bit My Apple?" was an original painting by J. R. Lambdin. All four prints were engraved and printed by the renowned Illman Brothers and were engraved expressly for Peterson's Magazine. There are some age spots to all 4 pieces along with some water damage to "Mother."
