Hand Stitched 1930's Star Quilt
This colorful, circa 1930 cotton summer quilt has a repeated design of 12 stars, which consist of deltoids of various colors- white, yellow, pink, green, light violet, and purple. The stars are fashioned from lovely 1930's cotton scraps. Quilt is completely hand stitched (including the binding) and is crafted with stitches about 1/8" apart. There is no batting in this quilt, just the pieced top and a solid muslin backing quilted together. This is a spectacular summer quilt showing a rich appreciation for color and design.
Condition: Excellent- Appears unused

Blue & White Calico Quilt ~ 1880's
Crisp blue and white calico pieced cotton squares define this exciting antique white quilt. This is a lightweight quilt with hand stitched quilting and a machine stitched binding. There are some small tears (see smaller photo) and a bit of fiber wear, but overall this quilt is in excellent shape considering its age. Appears to date from the 1880's.

Plush White Chenille Bedspread with Blue Flowers
This vintage chic plush white chenille bedspread fits a twin sized bed and features a lovely arrangement of blue and green floral designs. With its fringed ends, this great spread brings a cozy retro look to any room it graces. Although it appears to have been lightly used, there are NO holes, stains or missing chenille. This is a spread to use and display with pride.

Hand Sewn Quilt With Embroidered Flowers
Off-white and yellow cotton quilt embroidered with red flowers and greenery. Design repeat is 15.5". Thin inner stuffing about .25" thick. Entire quilt is hand sewn with stitches about 1/16" apart in nice neat stitches.

Patriotic Flower Basket Quilt
Wonderfully patriotic calico prints are artfully arranged in this vivid red, white and blue machine pieced quilt. The binding is quite worn and there are some tears and holes (especially along the top edge), as well as light spots, but overall this quilt is in good condition for its age and displays beautifully with its bright colors and strong graphics.

1940's Hand Pieced Quilt
This circa 1940 quilt was hand pieced and hand quilted in a flower basket like pattern. It received a carefully hand stitched new coordinating binding in the early 1970's. This quilt was well-used and has a number of worn and frayed spots but it still displays beautifully.

Hudson Bay Double Size 4 Point Blanket
This genuine Hudson Bay Trading Company wool blanket bears four points, or side stripes, indicating it as a double or full size blanket. This is the familiar, highly collectible, cream colored blanket with primary colored stripes at each end. It wears an embroidered Seal of Quality tag identifying it as a "Hudson's Bay Point Blanket" made of "100% Wool, Made in England." Incredibly warm and durable, these blankets are designed to last a lifetime and are the standard by which other blankets are judged!<br>

Lone Star Quilt Top
The cutting and piecing of this 2-color Lone Star quilt top was very well done but the quilter chose to use a seam allowance of only 1/16 of an inch so many of the seams need to be resewn. But it's still a lot easier to fix a few seams than sew an entire Lone Star top from scratch! A few spots here and there contribute to our low asking price. And if you don't want to finish it as a quilt, it would make a great shabby chic table cloth!

Cross-Stitch Quilt
This large summer weight quilt does not appear to have a filling layer but is carefully worked in cross stitch floral designs of brown, green and rust against an ivory ground. There is a small rip that is repairable and several spots that needs washing but we are leaving the repair of these flaws to the new owner.

Hand Appliqued Vintage Quilt
Two shades of pink were used in the hand applique of this vintage quilt. The leaves of the floral appliques have faded to almost the same shade as the background fabric but appear to have been blue or green once upon a time. Expertly hand quilted. Some stains but only one small rip in the center of one of the flower petals.

Exquisite Crazy Quilt with Victorian Velvets
The majority of this stunning crazy quilt appears to have been pieced in the late 1800's, with additions made around 1920 or 1930, and then finished fairly recently. It is all hand pieced with a lovely vining pattern embroidered all over the top in various colors. Backed with a deep pumpkin fabric. A small number of the earliest silks display some shattering, but overall this quilt is in fantastic condition and a wonderful piece of quilting history!

Hand-Quilted Flower Basket Quilt
Snuggle up under this warm quilt and let the cheerful purple and gold colors and flower basket pattern warm your heart as well. Seven inch blocks alternate with 3" wide sashing which appear to have been machine pieced and hand quilted. A nice warm weight, this quilt has been gently used with very few flaws. There are light spots or stains on its cream backing but we will leave the removal of these to the new owners.

Pink & Blue Sateen Star Quilt ~ Hand Pieced
Twenty inch blocks were hand pieced in a delightful LeMoyne star variation and outlined with 3.5" wide pink sashing in this vintage summer quilt. All hand pieced and hand quilted, it appears to have had a new pink satin binding sewn on by machine. This must have been a well-loved quilt at one time because its creator backed it with a soft to the touch pieced flannel backing in very light pastel pink and blue. No rips or stains or odors, just a few small areas where the sateen may have faded a bit. This is a quilt to delight little girls of every age!

Circa 1880's Quilt Piece
