Dazian's Costume Fabrics and Dance Catalog
Did you ever wonder where all the dancers, skaters and other performers get their fantastic costumes? Most are custom made from patterns, fabrics and accessories chosen from a catalog like this vintage Dazian's catalog. Book is undated but Dazian's was established in 1842 and the catolog claims it has been serving the theatre and dancing profession for almost 100 years, so we believe this catalog to be circa 1930. The edges are worn, there is some foxing, and a few samples have fallen out, but this is still an intriguing book for a performer to peruse.

"The Needlework Book" by Wanda Passadore is a large coffee table sized book providing instructions and close-up full color photographs of almost every kind of needlework imaginable. This wonderful volume includes some of the best knitting and crocheting instructions and photographs we've ever seen. 208 pages, hardbound in burgundy leatherette with gilded title, glossy full color dustjacket with some edge wear and tears. First published in Italy, then in the U.S. by Simon and Schuster in 1971, marked First U.S. Printing. Owner's name on flyleaf, clean bright text with no torn or missing pages.
