The inside of this graceful footed bowl is elegantly handpainted with a green design and lavishly decorated with gold, which shows surprisingly little wear considering the age of this piece. Marked "Hand Painted" and "Nippon" on the bottom with the M in the wreath, the Noritake predecessor. An outstanding bowl with no chips, cracks or crazing. The only wear we found was on the lightly rubbed bottoms of the feet.
