Exquisite Victorian gold plated bar pin, circa 1860 to 1880's, with a black and white glass cameo in the center boasts four tiny seed pearls in each corner. The detailing on this pin is very intricate: note the tiny rising sun peering over the top of the cameo backing. The gold plating appears to be over brass or copper and the reverse has a trombone style clasp (see photo). A fine example of Victorian jewelry.
