HEREND YELLOW BUTTERFLY ON FLOWERS Since 1826, Herend has produced one of the most outstanding and distinctive porcelains in a small village near Budapest, Hungary. Each piece is handpainted by the Herend artists. This hard to find piece was obtained by me around 1979. The large porcelain butterfly figurine stands 6-1/4" high (wing span of 5-1/4") and the wings are in several shades of yellow. The pale green body gently rests just above the two white trumpet flowers trimmed in lavendar and with a touch of yellow inside surrounded by pale green leaves. Underside marked in blue: Herend Hungary Handpainted 1826-1976 (Herend celebrating 150 year anniversary) and impressed into base of figurine is Herend #9305. There are no chips or cracks-MINT

HEREND SITTING CAT - NATURAL Since 1826, Herend has produced one of the most outstanding and distinctive porcelains in a small village near Budapest, Hungary. Each piece is handpainted by the Herend artists. Obtained around 1979, this natural white cat in a sitting position stands 4-1/2" high and has a touch of red for eyes. The underside of base is marked in blue: Handpainted Herend Hungary and #5383 is impressed into base. There are no chips or cracks - MINT
