Click for more detail... HUM101	Hummel Annual Plate by Goebel- 1972 "Hear Ye, Hear Ye" is the second in a series of Hummel Annual Plates made by W. Goebel Porzellanfabrik in W. Germany. This plate features a boy blowing on a horn as a night watchman with M.I. Hummel impressed on front. The stoneware plate is 7-1/2" in diameter and handpainted in bas-relief. The underside is marked HUM 265 above V with bee. In original box with pamphlet from Goebel, plate has no chips or cracks, although there is a small amount of wear on left lower edge from sitting on a plate stand...box shows some age. This unique series features Christmas wreaths created with the natural materials that were native to each of the thirteen colonies. This wreath is made of pine cones and branches, cotton pods, holly berries, yew and mistletoe. The plate was designed by Edward Marshall Boehm and handcrafted on a 10-3/4" diameter Lenox china plate. Each plate has the traditional Lenox ivory background and is lavishly trimmed with a band of 24K gold.
