WHITING LILY OF THE VALLEY SUGAR SHELL SPOON
This vintage Lily of the Valley pattern was first introduced by Whiting Silversmiths in 1885 and has long been discontinued. The floral handled Sugar Shell Spoon measures 5-7/8" long and the scallop-shaped bowl is decorated with a dot design and faint traces of gold wash. It is unmonogrammed and marked Sterling with the lion holding a W on the backside(Whiting trademark),along with the retailer's name. The estate piece appears to have crisp detail with very light wear. (Dark and discoloration spots due to flash reflections)

This vintage Lily of the Valley pattern was first introduced by Whiting Silversmiths in 1885 and has long been discontinued. These hard to find floral handled forks measure 6-7/8" long. They are unmonogrammed and marked Sterling with the lion holding a W on the backside(Whiting trademark). These estate pieces appear to have crisp detail with very light wear--normal surface scratches due to use and cleaning. (Dark and discoloration spots due to flash reflections)
