WHITING LILY OF THE VALLEY MUSTARD LADLE
This vintage Lily of the Valley pattern was introduced by Whiting Silversmiths in 1885 and has long been discontinued. This hard to find floral handled mustard ladle measures 4-1/2" long. It is unmonogrammed and marked Sterling with the lion holding a W on the backside(Whiting trademark),along with the retailer's name. This estate piece appears to have crisp detail with very light wear--normal surface scratches due to use and cleaning. (Dark and discoloration spots due to flash reflections) A great gift or addition to your own collection!
