ROYAL CROWN DERBY 'TEDDY BEAR' PAPERWEIGHT
In 1890 this company was appointed "Manufacurers of Pocelain to Her Majesty" and given the privilege of using the title "The Royal Crown Derby Porcelain Company". Then in 1964 the Royal Crown Derby became part of a group of factories, Allied English Potteries,Ltd., England's largest manufacturer of lovely bone china. This 'Teddy Bear' paperweight #06851 stands 5" high, and has an elegant, all over design of gold on a white porcelain background. He also features a cobalt blue and rust vest and paw pads. I believe he was produced in 1997. The base is marked Royal Crown Derby-English Bone China LX - the pattern number does not appear on the piece. He would make a wonderful addition to any bear collection. MINT
