A CELEBRATION OF STEIFF~TIMELESS TOYS FOR TODAY
This book is the story of Steiff which all started with an elephant back in 1880! Published by Portfolio Press in 1997, it is a First Edition, First Printing hardcover with jacket. It contains 223 pages containing color photos of all the toys made by Steiff over the years,details on how they are made and book measures approximately 9.5" x 12". The wonderful photography was done by Walter Pfeiffer, text by Krystyna Poray Goddu, and designed by John Vanden-Heuvel. Clean and tight~perfect! This book has been in my personal reference library and there are no scribbles, dog ears or torn pages.

Published in 1983, this soft cover FIRST EDITION was purchased at Walt Disney Village, Orlando, FL. on May 13, 1984 where we had the pleasure of meeting the authors and having the book signed.
The book measures 11" x 8-1/4" and features 255 pages of well illustrated
(a few in color) collectibles. It is basically for and about Disney but touches on the history of many American comic character collectibles which were sold at the top-of-the-line dime stores from the 1930s to the end of the 1950s...it was dedicated to the millions of Mickey Mouse fans all over the world!. Clean and tight with a few minor spots on outside edges of pages...nearly perfect! This book has been in my personal reference library and there are no scribbles, dog ears or torn pages.
