South Shore Music Circus Playbill - 1987
The South Shore Music Circus (Massachusetts) first opened in the summer of 1951 with a performance of SHOW BOAT! The most expensive ticket was $3.60 and the show was a sell out! Over the years the prices have risen, but it still continues to be a sell out as they get the top performers! The playhouse seats 2,300 people in the round and no seat is more than 50 feet from the stage. This Playbill is Volume 12 - Issue 4 July 22 - August 2, 1987 when they were celebrating their 37th Anniversary. The noted headline performers were: Perry Como, Victor Borge, Engelbert Humperdinck, and Bobby Vinton! There are very informative biographies on each in this 32 page booklet along with timely ads. Very good condition!
