"Hear Ye, Hear Ye" is the second in a series of Hummel Annual Plates made by W. Goebel Porzellanfabrik in W. Germany. This plate features a boy blowing on a horn as a night watchman with M.I. Hummel impressed on front. The stoneware plate is 7-1/2" in diameter and handpainted in bas-relief. The underside is marked HUM 265 above V with bee. In original box with pamphlet from Goebel, plate has no chips or cracks, although there is a small amount of wear on left lower edge from sitting on a plate stand...box shows some age.
