Second in the limited edition "Collectors Series" electric railway series produced by Pride Lines Ltd. (USA) for Walt Disney Productions comes the "Minnie Mouse Streetcar - 1983". The historical commemorative streetcar was a very limited issue (under 1,000) and was produced for one year only - 1983. Minnie's "green machine" (#ER-2) is of all metal construction, hand soldered, with a non-toxic, baked enamel finish and chrome plated motorized chassis. Minnie Mouse, 4-1/2" tall and constructed of high strength zinc and polyester stands on her wooden plaque and summons all to see and enjoy her very own streetcar. Along for the ride is her longtime friend, Daisy Duck at the controls and the Three Little Pigs, a portion of the 101 Dalmation Family and the Big Bad Wolf climbs onto the rear! The Big Bad Wolf is constructed from metal castings, the remaining passengers are cast from high strength polyester. All figures are hand painted to perfection.
The "O" gauge Disney streetcar is a full 11" long and 7" to the top of its trolleypole. It is powered by a high quality permanent magnet motor and a 30 to 1 worm gear drive of Pride Lines design and manufacture, although never used. It is presented on a 5-1/2" x 16" wooden display plaque and comes in original shipping box.
