Perched on pale blue-green leaves with a touch of white flowers and peach berries base, this white lovebird figurine from Royal Copenhagen (Denmark) measures 5-1/2" high and comes in the pastel hues which are indicative of Royal Copenhagen. The figurine was designed by artist Th. Madsen. The base is marked in green Royal Copenhagen with a crown, #402 and Denmark, the three blue wavy lines and initials OG under glaze.
The dot is under the G in Copenhagen which would indicate it was produced between 1969-1974. No chips,cracks or repairs..MINT (NOTE: it makes a lovely centerpiece with the RC335 bowl!) |
