Designs by Metzke,Inc. was founded in 1963 by Dr. Fred W. Metzke and his wife Mary. Their small family business in Tallahassee, FL. (USA) grew into one of the largest pewter giftware manufacturers in the world. But,in 1997 they officially closed their doors after realizing they could no longer compete with the foreign markets. These two decorative, handcrafted potpourri glass cups were produced in 1979. The glass cup measures 2.75" high and appoximately 2.25" in diameter at top. The handcrafted pewter cover which measures 2.50" in diameter features a cut out lily of the valley floral design and fits into top of cup. Marked: METZKE/1979 ~ Mint
