Manufacturer: Glass/Enamel Tumbler
|
I have collected items with lily of the valley for over 30 years and I purchased this lovely tumbler measuring 4" high in the 1970s and was told it was made during the Victorian era C 1880-1890 probably in the New England area - USA.
It is a beautiful deep copper blue in color and features delicate white hand enameled lily of the valley blossoms and green leaves in a graceful design on both sides. The enamel and paint are clear, crisp and intact.
This delicate antique blown art glass has a polished pontil and appears scalloped inside the base. The original gold beaded band trim does show visible wear. |
