Classic Chinese blue and white underglazed porcelain vase which I believe is the "Hawthorn" pattern. This pattern symbolizes winter and the month of January in addition to beauty and longevity. The flowering branches are at their peak of Spring bloom which resemble Cherry Blossoms and are set off by a deep blue background. This graceful vase measures 9-1/4" high and complements almost any interior style. Note: There is a fleabite at the top rim on white - barely noticeable. Chinese markings on base. |
