Lovely authentic Chinese embroidered mat featuring a satin stitch exotic floral design with a butterfly in shades of blue, green, brown, orange, melon. The light gold silk satin background design is surrounded by a ribbon of light blue, green, gold and coral, then a dark red ribbon and finished with a brocade design of teal blue, gold tones, coral and black. Overall size is 11.75" x 10.25" with a brown satin cloth on backside. Stored in a drawer for 40 years….a beautiful display piece in mint condition!
