I am sure this ladies miniature writing desk (NOT dollhouse size) had to have been made in a cabinet maker’s workshop as all the large and small pieces of wood are finely crafted to scale. The measurements appear to be very precise down to the smallest detail with simple elegant lines, dovetail joints, and cabriole legs.
There are no markings anywhere on the desk, only a tag which reads: "Authentic Recreation of Queen Anne Desk – Museum Quality".
The desk was carefully cut, hand-crafted and measures 11-3/4" high, 9-1/4 across top, 9-3/4" at bottom drawer, 10-1/2" across from one leg to the other, 5-1/4" wide at bottom drawer. When lowering hinged drop front there are two pieces that pull out on either side to support the writing desk, inside there are small cubicles for papers and three drawers which open.
Excellent condition.
