BISQUE PORCELIAN COSTUMED FIGURINE -
This Original Vintage Bisque Porcelain Figurine is only marked with the number 22 but appears to be from Germany. It is about 14 ¼ inches tall and has good modeling. The gentleman has rosy cheeks and painted indigo eyes. His pink and white French Colonial clothing is decorated with gold beading. These figurines were manufactured for the masses and imperfections are entirely normal for products produced by these companies. The right coattail and his walking stick are damaged with an old repair effort easy to spot. Some of the beading has chipped from the hat, stick and coat edges. |
