This porcelain figurine of a young lady in Lavender by Royal Doulton is called Dinky Do. She is about 4-1/2 inches tall. The first one (shown in the photos) has the older backstamp that didn't show the series number when issued in 1934. We have a second one that is stamped with the number, HN1678. ROYAL DOULTON DECANTER - THE DON -
This is a 1940's Royal Doulton decanter of a Zorro looking figure. I think Royal Doulton called this piece 'The Don'. The top plastic part of his hat is the stopper and is broken in a couple of places. But if you are buying this piece as a decorative item, the damage doesn't show from the front. There is a partial sticker on the back stating that this decanter was made for Sandeman, Sons &Co. Ltd of London England. He is 11' tall. |

RARE ROYAL DOULTON FIGURINE - PYJAMS HN 1942 -
This sweet porcelain figurine of a young boy in pink holding a ball is from Royal Doulton. He is called PYJAMS (HN 1942) and was issued during the short period 1940-1949 (This one has a date code of 1940). Designed by L. Harradine, he stands about 5-1/4 inches tall and has no chips or cracks. See photos of bottom marks (there are three initials which may be of the artist?). There is also a mold-impressed number that appears to be 1035. The name and number are hand signed. The unusual thing about the mark is the reference book spells its name PYJAMS whereas this one is signed PYEJAMS, so either the artist misspelled it or they changed the official spelling after this one was produced. This figurine is very hard to find. |
