LATE 1940s IVORY PEARLIZED PLASTIC LADIES BAG -
This Ladies Plastic Box Purse dates from the late 1940s. It features an Ivory Pearlized finish and a handle rest to hold the back handle up which in turn holds the lid when opened. It is unlined and sits on four small bun feet. It is about 8 inches wide to the outside of the handles. The box itself is about 7w x 4d x 3 ¾t inches. There is no marker’s mark but it is engraved on the top with script initials that appear to be “FCF”. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. It has surface scratches from normal use.
