1922 ROYAL WORCESTER PAIR DEMI CUPS & SAUCERS C2153 -
This is a pair of Rare Porcelain Demitasse Cups with Saucers from ROYAL WORCESTER in their pattern number C2153 dated 1922. They are hand colored transferware and are marked on the bottoms with the manufacturer’s logo, MADE IN ENGLAND, Rd No 693406 and the pattern number C2153. They are about 2 ¼ inches tall with 4 diameter saucers. They have no chips or cracks but do have some glaze crazing and one has several areas of streaking under the glaze, probably part of the print process (see example photo).
