BAVARIAN PORCELAIN CUP and SAUCER FLORAL GUILDED -
This footed porcelain Cup and Saucer features a multi-color floral transfer decoration against a gilded background along with fancy gold trim. Two of the cups and saucers have the same decoration while the remaining two are both different. They were decorated by the Bavarian decorating firm of Rudolph Wachter on Edelstein porcelain blanks. The backs have a small single flower group against white porcelain. They are marked on the bottom with Wachters RW Bavaria logo and "Made in Germany". Each cup is about 3 inches tall and each saucer 4-3/4 inches in diameter with no chips or cracks. Priced per piece, you can order up to the quantity still available.
BAVARIAN CAKE SET - RETICULATED -
This is an 11 piece Bavarian porcelain cake or dessert set with 1-9.5' cake plate and 10-6' dessert plates. All of them have reticulated edges. There is a bird and flower transfer on the center of each. The larger plate is marked, 'Schwarzenhammer, Bavaria, and hammer emblem. One of the small plates has a crows foot hairline crack in its center that goes all the way through to the back. Also there is a mark on the surface of the large plate where a knife has scratched the glaze. There is no other cracks or knife scratches. This set is probably from the 1940's or later.
COBALT DRESDEN PORTRAIT BOWL -
This 10in Dresden style Portrait Bowl is marked R.C. ALICE BAVARIA. It is beautiful flow blue cobalt tapering to the white background of the portrait. There are some specks in the portrait area and some wear on the gold edging. It is a great display piece.
BAVARIAN CHILDRENS MOTO PLATE -
This Children’s plate features a picture of a child at play with a central motto reading THE WORLD IS SO FULL OF A NUMBER OF THINGS I’M SURE WE SHOULD ALL BE AS HAPPY AS KINGS. It is 8 ½ inches in diameter and is back stamped H&Co. SELB BAVARIA. It has no chips or cracks.
