ROYAL DOULTON NURSERY RHYMES SIMPLE SIMON CUP -
This English Porcelain Child’s Cup is one in their Nursery Rhymes Series featuring SIMPLE SIMON meeting a PIEMAN with the verse printed on the backside. The gold trim on the rim is worn and it is bottom stamped with Doulton’s mark from the 1920s. It is about 3 inches tall and 3-3/8 inches in diameter at the base. There are no cracks but it does have some nicks on the edge of the bottom (see photo).
ROYAL DOULTON CHINA HAND PAINTED ROUND PLATTER E2429 -
This HAND PAINTED PORCELAIN CHOP PLATE features pink and purple flowers with a bird in the pattern # E2429. It is back stamped with the maker’s mark of ROYAL DOULTON of ENGLAND and the importer’s name, D.H. HOLMES Co Ltd, NEW ORLEANS. It is about 12-1/4 inches in diameter and is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines or crazing and only a few very light knife marks. This is a very difficult pattern to find.
