GAUDY WELSH CUP & SAUCER - ALLERTONS -
This is a fine example of Gaudy Welsh style oyster pattern decoration in colors of cobalt, rust and green with lustre accents and trim. The saucer is 5-3/4 inches in diameter and is stamped with the ca. 1912 backstamp of Allertons LTD, Longton, Staffordshire, England. The cup has some light chipping on the foot (see photo).
3 PC ENGLISH COTTAGEWARE CONDIMENT SET -
This 3 pc. set of English Cottageware consists of salt and pepper shakers and mustard/marmalade covered jar. The shakers are 3" tall and the jar is 4" tall and 2.5" square. It is marked Price Kensington, Laurel Wreath, Made In England, Cottage Ware, Reg. #845007. Some crazing, but no chips or cracks that I can see.
HAMMERSLEY ENGLISH BONE CHINA CREAM and SUGAR -
This is a small English Cream Pitcher and matching Open Sugar Bowl. It features bouquets of colorful flowers with the markings on the bottom reading BONE CHINA HAMMERSLEY & CO. MADE IN ENGLAND. The creamer is about 3 ¾ inches tall and the sugar 3 ¾ inches wide. The set has no chips or cracks and the gold trim is in excellent condition. The fine quality molding is done in small edge scrolls with vertical ribbing running around both pieces. They are signed below the largest floral with the name F. HOWARD.
CHAMBER POT RUTLAND by HANCOCK & SONS CORONA WARE -
This porcelain English Chamber Pot features a hand painted over blue print pattern called RUTLAND. It was made by the Staffordshire firm of Sampson Hancock & Sons (1858-1937) sometime during the period between 1912-1937 and is stamped with their trademark that reads CORONA WARE STOKE-ON-TRENT ENGLAND RUTLAND. There is wear on the gold trim, especially around the handle and it has overall glaze crazing. It has no chips but there is a small 5/16-inch fingernail shaped tight hairline on the foot (see photo). It is about 5 ¼ inches tall and 9 inches in diameter.
