This small Hungarian vase was made at a factory in Budapest, Hungary sometime after 1885 by EMIL FISCHER and is bottom stamped with his mark reading FE HAND PAINTED MADE IN HUNGARY and with his impressed mark reading FISHER EMIL BUDAPEST 182. It features a panoramic scene of field workers that is repeated on the back. The style is reminiscent of Doulton’s series ware. It is about 3 inches tall and 3-1/2 inches in diameter with no cracks. It has a very tiny nick on its rim (see photo) and overall glaze crazing. |
