Manufacturer: Fostoria Glass Company
This late Victorian decorative Ewer Vase was made in the early years of the Fostoria Glass Company (1887-1986). It features a hand painted on milk glass floral decoration, mounted as a ewer with metal base, handle and spout. The back of the ewer is plain with no flowers.
The glass has some straw marks (fold lines on the surface original to the molding process) and some light scratches on the paint (see photos). It is about 15-1/2 inches tall to the top of the handle. There are no cracks, but the metal's finish has worn and darkened with age (The metal is darker than the photos show).
