Vintage Long Double Mink Collar/Wrap Hum, it’s so lovely and soft to feel around your neck and shoulders. This long dark brown luxurious mink is 54 inches (137 cm) long. There is no satin lining; it has fur on both sides so you can drape it in many glamorous ways. It is slightly tapered, measuring 2 ½ inches (5cm) wide at the neck and 3 ½ inches (9cm) wide at each end. At each end are the back legs and the tail. At the lower end is a posament covered snap to join the piece together if you wish. Since the closure falls below the waist it would be suitable for flapper fashions. The condition is perfect.


 

VF4z2z1 Heavy Glass Beaded Tiara 1920's Made in France, this flapper style headpiece is custom made of largish beads and twisted silver (?) wire. The main bead colors are caramel, green and black with some larger round accent beads in white, blue and clear. The main beads are 3/8 inch long. The length of this vintage tiara is 16 inches (42cm) and at the front the height is 2 ½ inches (7 cm). VF4z3z2 Antique French Carnival Lace Bonnet This off white embroidered net lace ladies cap is a pure delight! It is decorated with flowing ribbons and a few big silk ribbon roses. The wider ribbon is pink with gray and black décor. The long narrow ribbon is shades of green and red. There is a large purple and a large blue flower attached. Good condition, no holes in the net.
The adjustable circumference of the gathered front is 22 inches (54 cm). The length of the crown is 8 inches (22 cm). This is an unusual collector’s head piece or it could be worn for real at a special occasion. When I look at this late 18 hundreds hat I see a pretty young girl dancing in the village square!

Antique French Pressed Net Embroidered Bonnet This lovely and unusual ladies cap is still has its original stiffness from the late 1800s. It is the first time I have seen an example of pressed tulle net. Please look at the parallel rows on the plain part of the hat. This is a rare and seldom seen technique. The embroidery on the crown is hand done and the lace trimming the front is not. The original string to tie under the chin is still attached. There are some scattered small holes that should not be touched considering that this piece is over 100 years old. Please note that the photos show it much whiter than it is in reality. It is a typical aged beige. The length of the cap including the front lace is 8 ½ inches (22cm). The front measures 9 ½ inches (24cm). This is a wonderful collector’s find. Airmail postage $8.00

Battenburg Lace Collar This black "Renaissance" collar has a very pretty design of scrolls and roses. The machine made fillings are all attached by hand. The neck size is 13 in (31 cm) unstretched. The top stands up about 2 in (6cm). There are snaps to close in the back. It is a turn of the Century piece in very good condition, romantic and wearable.
 

Victorian Hand Fan with 14 Angels This is a very pretty fan decorated with little printed paper angels holding hands and dancing with garlands of pink roses under a border of lilacs. It is mounted on a beige cotton net background. The two wooden outer staves and the twenty inner staves are hand painted with a floral design using a metallic paint. There are tiny sequins scattered over the front of the fan too. The height of the fan is 7 ½ inches (19cm) and the width when open is 12 ¾ inches (32 cm). The condition is appropriate for its age and use. There are no missing for damaged staves. The delicate coloring of this fashion accessory makes it an especially beautiful collector’s piece. Burgundy Feather Bouquet Talk about dramatic! This fancy feather arrangement is absolutely gorgeous. And is in very good condition too. There are four different kinds of burgundy red feathers accented by a beige feather burst in the middle of the large round flower. It was intended to lie flat but the back is “finished” too so it can be presented from all sides. It is 12 ½ inches (30cm) in height, 7 inches (18cm) at its widest part, and the diameter of the flower is 3 ½ inches ( 9cm ). This elegant piece would be great as an extravagant fashion accessory or for interior decor.
 

Embroideried French Floral Hand Bag 1880 Embroidered Floral French Handbag 1880 Oh la la this is magnifique! On a background of plain ivory silk satin are satin stitched embroidered large red to pink flowers with green and beige leaves and rich tarnished gold highlights. The edges are trimmed with pretty pink and beige fringe and adorable little tassels. At each side of the top are wide beige satin bows connected by a double length of the same ribbon. The back is plain gray silk satin. There is a pretty pink lining and the maker Boissier, France is printed in gold on the inside. This is a large bag 14 ½ inches (38 cm) in width and 9 inches (23 cm) in height. The condition is good with some signs of wear, mostly on the back. This purse is one of the prettiest things I have ever had to offer.

 

Vintage Soure Beaded Handbag with Mirror This typical Soure bag is encrusted with multicolored seed beads and colorful needlepoint flowers on a beige mesh background. The two flowers have large glass jewel centers and there are three glass green leaves. There are four brass leaves too. The frame and chain handle are gold metal. Inside the purse is one pocket containing a small blackened mirror upon which is printed in gold "A Soure Bag" A label saying Soure, New York is also sewn inside. The back of the bag is plain mesh. It is 9 ½ by 8 ¾ inches (25 x22 ½ cm). The span across the base of the bag is 1 inch (8 cm). The condition of this unused handbag is perfect.

VF7z3z3 Embroidered Vintage Handbag
This fancy French bag is richly embroidered with off white scrolly leaves and flowers. Some of the design is cut away showing the white satin background. The purse is lined with white satin and closes with a silver colored zipper. It is lined with a stiffened white satin over the sheer outer embroidered organdy. The embroidery is off white. The back of the bag is embroidered with simple petal and dot motif on organdy. There is some discoloration on the edges of the bag but the all over condition is good. It appears to be hand made, there is no commercial label. The width at the base is 11 ½ inches (30 cm), the height 9 ½ inches (24 cm), the strap is 22 inches (56 cm). I suspect this bag has only been used once or twice, perhaps for a wedding. It would be perfect for a romantic summer dress. Another idea would be to fill it with silk flowers and hang it on a wall.


 

Ladies’ Creamy Silk Slippers from 1880 These dainty little French shoes were worn for a wedding. They have a thin white leather lining and a pretty silk bow on the top. The soles are thin brown leather with a few numbers stamped on one shoe sole. They are 9 inches (23cm) in length. The elegant heels are 1 ¾ inches (3 ½ cm) high. These shoes are in fairly good condition but one sees that they have been worn. The silk shows some wear especially on one side.
