Vintage Belsnickle Santa Claus Net Candy Bag This is a very collectable Christmas novelty from earlier times. The little cotton net bags were filled with goodies and displayed on the candle lit tree. The composition Father Christmas face attached to the outside of the bag is hand painted and has a white cotton beard. There is a red wool pointed cap with chenille trim and two green chenille leaves. The net bag can be closed with an orange string tie. Although it has never been used there is showing of age abrasions on the face.
The width of the bag is 2 ½ inches (7 cm). The height of the face, beard and cap vary up to 2 ½ inches (6 ½ cm) the little Belsnickle sacs are an original and whimsical addition to any collection. Note the price listed is for one (1) piece of my choice.

Small Pressed Cardboard Vintage Belsnickle Sa This cute little Father Christmas is 3 ½ inches (9cm) in height. His red hooded robe, white beard and features are all hand painted. There are black specks on the back of the robe but the general condition is good. The diameter of the open base is 1 ¼ inches (3.3 cm). Overseas postage $8.00


 

Fancy Victorian Die Cut New Years Card This richly decorated padded folding card has tarnished silver and gold die cut lace design on a fancy pressed paper backing. On the front is an oval print of a Victorian Santa carrying a Christmas tree and pointing to an illuminated church. On the side of the inside page is an oval with a New Years wish printed on fine white satin and trimmed with die cut scrap flowers. On the other inside page is a pretty oval scrap of die cut flowers. The lightly padded Tarnished silver metallic lace back of the card also has a flower decor. There is a fine little silk tab to open the card. The card measures 3 ½ x 4 inches (8x11cm). Note; the background color on each page is pure white. It does not have the violet tinge you see on the photos. This is one of the finest Dresden examples that I have had to offer.
Poem reads: “May the new year that’s coming my friend Be joyful and happy to you No care may it bring your heart to rend, But joys that are holy and true.” The price includes overseas postage.

These delicate pieces are 4 1/2 inches (11cm) high and 3 inches (7.5 cm) at the widest point. They are decorated with eight little rhinestones. Sold in sets of three. 3 Antique Die Cut Dresden Gold Stars These are very old star-like (16 points) die cuts on thin carton. They are 3 inches (7½ cm) in diameter.
