Metallic Gold Mesh Drawstring Bag , small
These little vintage bags made of metallic gold mesh were originally used to hold Christmas goodies. They were pulled closed with a red drawstring and hung on the tree. XM1z1 Antique Toki Christmas Tree Light Bulb
There are seven little hand painted clesr glass bulbs in this original Japanese Toki box. The bulbs are a parrot, cat, dog, two candles and two lanterns. Some of the paint is worn away especially on the figures. The plug attached to the wire looks like it is European. The nice box has a picture of Santa with light bulb decoration on a background of colored squares. On the inside roof of the box is written in French and Dutch "Before use screw in the bulbs without forcing". On the base are the words "Export Standard". Lightly stamped on the side is 110-125 volts (I think).The bulbs are 15 watt. The length of the glass part of the bulb is 1 ½ inches (4cm). The size of the box is 7 ½ x3 ½ x1 1/8 inches (19x9x2 ½ cm).
The Japaniese stopped using clear galss and switched to milk glass in the 1920's. These very old lights are especially interesting because they are smaller that what one normally sees thus making them an important addition to any collection.

Fancy Victorian Die Cut New Years Card
This richly decorated padded folding card has tarnished silver and gold die cut lace design on a fancy pressed paper backing. On the front is an oval print of a Victorian Santa carrying a Christmas tree and pointing to an illuminated church. On the side of the inside page is an oval with a New Years wish printed on fine white satin and trimmed with die cut scrap flowers. On the other inside page is a pretty oval scrap of die cut flowers. The lightly padded Tarnished silver metallic lace back of the card also has a flower decor. There is a fine little silk tab to open the card. The card measures 3 ½ x 4 inches (8x11cm). Note; the background color on each page is pure white. It does not have the violet tinge you see on the photos. This is one of the finest Dresden examples that I have had to offer.
Poem reads: “May the new year that’s coming my friend Be joyful and happy to you No care may it bring your heart to rend, But joys that are holy and true.” The price includes overseas postage.

These lovely white cotton lace Christmas trees are made in St. Gallen, Switzerland. They are ideal for holiday crafts and decor. These delicate pieces are 4 1/2 inches (11cm) high and 3 inches (7.5 cm) at the widest point. They are decorated with eight little rhinestones. Sold in sets of three. I pay overseas airmail postage.
