G15z1z1

Hohner Marine Band Harmonica Model 683 This is a large very impressive vintage Marine Band Echo Harmonica in its original case. It is model 683. I has 4 different keys and 192 reeds (notes). On it’s case are the words "very best tremolo concert harp made by M.Hohner Germany". On two pictured gold medals are the words San Franscico 1915 and Grand Prix can’t read rest 1926. The original case is wood covered with leather imitation and the inside is padded. The case is worn at the edges and in the corners. There is slight age erosion on parts of the silver metal. I did not try to polish it. The length of the harmonica is 15 ½ inches (39.5 cm). I took this mouth organ to a music store in Lucerne, Switzerland and they said that it was in playable condition. Overseas surface postage $18.00
